The Woodend Barn doubles up as both your Drinks Reception space and party barn!
While you're busy chatting away with guests over some incredible dishes over in The Eland Barn, your suppliers will have crept into The Woodend Barn to transform it into the ultimate party barn!
You may choose to invite all of your guests for the whole day or have a smaller number of guests for the day, and then additional evening guests. We will help you to put together your wedding schedule so you know what time to invite your evening guests for the party.
The Bar will be stocked up and open ready for your evening guests arrival. We're always happy to place out extra chairs if you wish, however you'll find most evening guests will gravitate to the bar and the dancefloor (in that order!).
In this barn, you will also enjoy immediate access to the charming Courtyard through bifolding doors which help to avoid splitting the wedding party. You can step out here for a breath of fresh air and catch up with friends and family.
The First Dance
Traditionally, in the evening most couples cut the cake and invite guests to watch the first dance. So it's always best to leave these two special moments until later on so you can share them with the evening guests.
It's always best to make it clear on the invitation what time these things are taking place so your evening guests don't miss out!

We know how to throw a good party at Hanbury Barns! So to ensure that the dancefloor stays lively all night, you'll want to choose the right evening entertainment.

The Bar will remain open throughout the entire evening until 11:45pm. Last orders at 11:30pm.
