As well as the stunning ceremony barn, at Hanbury Barns you also have the choice of an outdoor ceremony space situated in the beautiful grounds.
Imagine walking towards the love of your life feeling the gentle breeze through your hair while soundtracked by the tranquil notes of bird song.
While you exchange your vows up on the raised pavillion, you can enjoy the views out over the lake and the rolling countryside beyond.

Planning An Outdoor Wedding
The Wedding Pavillion is licensed for up to 150 guests.
If you'd prefer an outdoor ceremony you can let us know when you book Hanbury Barns as your wedding venue.
We'll note this down and plan everything with you around an outdoor ceremony setup.
Although the wedding pavillion is a permanent structure, we do need to know in advance if you're hoping for an outdoor wedding so we can arrange the correct number of outdoor seating.
On your arrival to The Dressing Room on the morning of your wedding, you will talk with your Event Manager to confirm that you are still happy to go forward with an outdoor wedding. This decision will be weather dependent.
Outdoor Wedding Season
Outdoor weddings can take place during the Summer months from the beginning of May to the end of September. Outside of this seasonal window, the weather is unlikely to be suitable to host an outdoor ceremony.
We'll make a decision together on your wedding day to assess whether the weather is suitable to go ahead outdoors. Should the weather not be so cooperative, we will always have a back up plan in place to quickly adapt to a indoor ceremony in the beautiful ceremony barn instead.
Please note that you must check that your registrars are happy to conduct an outdoor ceremony.
Inclusive Pricing
The Wedding Pavillion is a permanent structure located out on the beautiful lawn and offers a unique outdoor wedding venue option in the heart of Staffordshire.
There is no additional cost for outdoor weddings at Hanbury Barns, in line with our inclusive pricing approach.
